Speech Presentation Skills

Griffin Communication´s Speech Presentation Skills training program is designed to teach participants the public speaking techniques required to both write and deliver a compelling speech presentation. During a one day seminar and workshop, participants acquire the presentation skills to successfully deliver large auditorium style presentations as well as in the more intimate boardroom style setting .

All our presentation skills training courses are personally conducted by Paul Griffin and comprises both individual and group instruction with the major emphasis being on each participant doing and practicing the skills to be acquired during intensive coaching and tutoring sessions.

Our public speaking training courses focus on the twin essential ingredients of both the content and the delivery of a good presentation. Participants are coached in the fundamentals of how to firstly write a high-quality presentation and then how to deliver it effectively.

All speech presentation training courses rely heavily on the video recording and playback of individual performances to enable participants to see and evaluate their work as others do and to assist with the coaching and feed-back process.

Wherever possible, the benefits from this public speaking training course are maximized by basing subject matter on real life topics and likely audience/venue scenarios to serve as a preparation tool for possible forthcoming client presentation assignments.

Care is taken to deal sensitively with any impediments that may face individual participants with a training style that is inclusive and supportive. The outcome seeks to empower and enhance each person´s performance and build their public speaking confidence levels.

All participants receive a complete set of training notes that summarise the instruction given in addition to copies of videotapes of their individual performances for further revision and assessment.

Our public speaking course participants are requested to complete a pre-training questionnaire to assist better understanding of each individual´s current strengths and weaknesses and their particular skill enhancement needs and requirements.

At the conclusion of their public speaking course, participants are requested to complete a course appraisal questionnaire which seeks to identify for both the client and trainer the outcomes of the training and each individual´s appraisal of its value to him or her.
