Paul Griffin is a well known Queensland news identity with over 20 years experience as a television journalist, producer and presenter with National Nine News in addition to tours of duty with several Brisbane commercial radio news rooms.
He founded Griffin Communications in 1992 as a small, boutique consultancy for the specific purpose of providing a select group of corporate clients with discreet, strategic communications counsel.
Recognising that modern media communications techniques and public expectations of corporate accountability are growing daily ever more complex and sensitive, Paul provides on demand, high level media counsellor service directly and personally to senior executive management.
Griffin is an expert trainer and counsellor in the field of corporate communications with particular emphasis on communications strategy, crisis communications, media interview training, speech presentation training and corporate communications audit.
He has built a substantial reputation as an expert communications counsellor and coach to senior and middle level executives at some of Australia’s leading private and public sector corporations. He devises and implements corporate communications programs that address the prevention of, planning for and management of crisis incident situations.
Griffin is a former guest lecturer in the Continuing Professional Development Program of the Public Relations Institute of Australia (Queensland Division) and guest lectures in the Department of Mass Communications at the University of Southern Queensland.He is a member of the Australian Institute of Management.
